Our Mission
We are striving to make the world a more compassionate place! We are working to achieve this through our Compassionate Children’s Programming where we offer Compassionate Education to children + families about animals, the environment, and kindness towards one another.
About us
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in the Chicagoland area. CFY+M was founded in January 2020 by our fearless founder, Vick Hiatt, who had been both vegan and a teacher for over a decade. She started CFY+M as a way to merge her passions and build a community that focuses on education and partnership to lead a more compassionate world. Over the last several years, we have pivoted a lot due to Covid, including bringing plant-based options to under-resourced communities and supporting animal sanctuaries. While we loved that piece of our work + made large impact, we are excited to officially say our main focus going forward will be our Compassionate Children’s Programming!
