It’s that time of year again where we are asking the community to come together to help us ensure 50+ children in Humboldt Park have a memorable Christmas.
We are supporting infants to 12 year olds, boys + girls. We ask that when purchasing gifts to keep in mind who you are buying for. Majority of children in this community are Black. Be mindful of skin color when purchasing dolls, action figures, and books, please. We are accepting NEW toys, books, and clothing. Please do not wrap gifts when delivering them to
Handlebar.
We are accepting donations in front of Handlebar the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 26th from noon to 4pm.
We are also accepting vegan groceries and other cruelty free household items for Food Not Bombs – Humboldt Park.
