Sanctuary Advocacy Network (SAN) is a group of volunteers that advocates for Animal Sanctuaries through sponsor programs, education and sanctuary visits. Our goal is to strengthen awareness and education for animal sanctuaries. We are currently working with sanctuaries in the Midwest.
SAN was formed in April 2020 by a group of volunteers that wanted to provide support for local sanctuaries. So many people are struggling due to the outbreak of COVID-19. Nonprofit organizations that depend fully on donations to operate, are among the hardest hit. Our first project features local sanctuaries, and some of their animals that need sponsors. Our goal is to connect sanctuaries with sponsors, while raising general awareness about local sanctuaries.

Upcoming Sanctuary Support in Chicago
When the weather warms up in Chicago, we will be back to hosting our Animal Sanctuary Food + Supply Drives at Upton’s Breakroom and other locations around the Chicagoland Area.
We will also begin coordinating work days + tours at semi-local animal sanctuaries.
